Super Green Smoothie
This is a lovely sweet and earthy tasting smoothie with so many benefits. Super because it is actually super but because it has some incredible super food ingredients Many women at perimenopause find they are more prone to kidney issues, infections and associated symptomsChlorella removes heavy metals from the system and is a great source of while at the same time protecting the kidneys Accordingto Dr Klinghardt chlorella binds to toxins and takes them straight to the intestines by passing the kidneys therefore giving them a break especially if we are working on clearing up our systems and perhaps losing weight to regulate our hormone levels. It contains all of theB vitamins, vitamin C and E. As well as amino acids and magnesium. Be warned it can taste very green! By that I mean earthy. So don’t put too much in. Start with ½ a tsp and as you get more and more into the taste..i find it to be one of those tastes that my body starts to look for and I add more as I go.The smoothie is sweet and delicious with banana and kiwi and simple to make.Make sure your bananas are ripe ie spotty and they will be beautiful and sweet as well as having increased health benefits. You will need a blender for this recipe
